Everything is at your fingertips and can be customized the way you want.Your choice of media application will determine how you display your files of information to your audience.

Can anyone access my media station?

No. Your media station is unique to you and cannot be accessed by anyone without your user id and password. The media station was designed to give you total control over how you connect with people. You will have the ability to change your username and password id anytime for added protection.

What does the media station cost?

There is no cost for the media station. However, you are required to register to subscribe to WebMSys in order to get an account membership and gain access to the media station. Once you become validated for a basic, premium or custom plan you can begin using the media station immediately. You will automatically receive the corresponding data storage space and bandwidth along with streaming applications based on the plan you chose.

Bandwidth is based on the bitrate at which you encode your audio and video files for streaming to your audience and the number of users that will be visiting your site concurrently. Data storage is for on-demand accounts and is based on the size of file needed to host your files on our servers. You have a choice of on-demand streaming, live streaming or dualcast streaming. You can review definitions for each of these by clicking on the links located under streaming services on the page index located to the left side of each web page. You will be able to track your bandwidth with the Bandwidth Stat Tracker®.

How much storage space and bandwith am I allocated?

If you chose the basic plan, your limits will be set for 2000MB of data transfer and 250MB of data storage each month your subscription is in effect. 10000MB of data transfer and 1000MB of data storage for the premium plan and Unmetered or Metered for the custom plan.

We provide two types of bandwidth, unmetered and metered. UnMetered bandwidth means you have set limits and you will not be able to broadcast to additional listeners or viewers once you reach those limits set for the basic plan. However, you will be able to adjust your limits each month based on your actual usage for the month. Metered bandwidth means your bandwidth is being tracked and you will pay for overage fees if you go over your set limits. We recommend you go with the Unmetered until you are sure you can afford unlimited streaming.

Can I get additional storage and bandwidth?

Yes.

Do I have to sign a contact?

What are the differences between the streaming applications?

What is the difference between Live, On-demand and DualCast streaming? A live Streaming server is a way for you to put on a live show, to mix your music, add your voice, throw in sound FX and be the ultimate DJ right from your own PC. On-Demand Servers allow you to upload your music or video playlist for your listeners and viewers to connect to and listen, this does not allow on the fly mixing but it does allow you to shut your computer off at night and let us keep your streaming service up and running. With on-Demand streaming you upload the music you want us to play. Once you upload your music the fun is in our hands. From then on we will stream the music to your listeners without you having to lift a finger, all automatically. DualCast streaming combines the on the fly radio personality and still allows you to turn your computer off at night. While in the live mode you can be streaming and talking and running your show, when you’re ready to hand it over to us we take over and stream from your personal library of music. DualCast Streaming is the best of both worlds. Using our easy to use control panel you can switch between On-Demand and Live streaming as easy as pushing a button. The best of both worlds in one easy to use system.
